Restoring an original Hungarian oak parquet was made by leveling methods through machines and labor removal of damaged surfaces below the parquet. After leveling, a process of redistributing wood powder and additives and restoration materials were used to restore the floor to its original quality.

Local carpenters were hired to restore exterior windows and door frames and to replace old glass used in the 1950s. Fixtures were re-polished in brass and copper to restore their original look. Old tiles were restored and leveled.

Custom doors were designed to maximize layout efficiency and options for users in a 2-bedroom project in Montreal. Local talent was hired to produce double doors with glasses customized to be used for one room that can be turned into a bedroom or a living room based on resident’s need. Special locks and acoustic windows were installed within pocket-designed sliding doors Acoustic windows carved in interior walls to allow natural light into limited window spaces.
